How to Renew Your GS1 Membership, Prefix, and Barcodes

Renewing your annual GS1 US Membership allows you to continue using barcodes created with your GS1 Company Prefix—and much more.

Renew Online:

Fastest way: Pay online at https://my.gs1us.org/payment (no log in necessary)

You can also pay by logging in to myGS1 US and clicking “Pay My Bill.”

When you renew your membership:

  • You can continue the use of your GS1 Company Prefix and the barcodes created from it
  • You can create new barcodes with your GS1 Company Prefix
  • You maintain access to GS1 US Data Hub®| Product with all your product information 
  • Retailers and marketplaces will continue to see product data that you’ve shared with them via GS1 US Data Hub 
  • Your company information remains listed in the GS1 Company Database that retailer and marketplaces use to check the legitimacy of the barcodes you submit to them

Review the status of your membership here. You will find your account number, company contact information, and other useful information you might need regarding your account and subscriptions.

If you want to check how many available barcodes you have left, log in to GS1 US Data Hub and check your remaining available capacity on the dashboard.
